Whats New:
Its October and that means the new season has started here in Southland. Its been a rough start to the season with hostile weather and high river flows but many good fish are being caught. I found out that my foot is much harder on a rod tip than a high speed tungsten bead and am now in the process of building a new T&T NS5 which is supposed to be an absolute honey of a rod so will post a pic or two once its all done.
There is also alot of interest in the new glass rod offerings from Swift. The Epic range looks amazing and is very well engineered for our fishing in NZ. Full details can be found on their web page here.
